So often, we get asked, "so what kind of cars or trucks will you work on?" To be frank, we'll work on almost anything, as long as it doesn't fly or float. While we've made ourselves a bit of a niche company in a few certain platforms, at any given time at FSR, there is a huge variety of cars!

FSR AEM Power Switch Demo and Dyno

Have a look at this video which demonstrates the gains possible when removing a piggyback setup and installing an AEM EMS Series 2 tuned by FSR. Further, we integrate meth injection and our own "Power Switch" which allows the driver to toggle between an economical, smooth running calibration or an aggressive performance setting which changes the boost control, brings in the methanol injection, and compensates with alternate fuel and timing maps, all at the flip of a switch. Hot Rod Tech
Created on Wednesday, 31 March 2010 17:56- Details
Some of our customers may not be aware of our experience and competence with working on all sorts of hot rods. We can take care of your each and every need when it comes to your classic car, hot rod, muscle car, or street rod. And yes, we know the difference between each of them! When it comes to engine work, we can service your small block or big block Chevy, Ford, Mopar, or even an old Poncho or Buick motor. Likewise, we are familiar with Powerglides, AOD's, and TH350/400 transmissions. Naturally, swapping in a modern v8 powerplant with a perfectly running, and performing tunable EFI system is right up our alley. If you choose to keep the induction original, our Dynojet chassis dyno is well suited for any tuning or adjustments needed on your Carb and mechanical distributor, too. We can almost always get you more power, reliability, and efficiency. We are happy to also get into the nitty gritty stuff; oil leaks, power steering installation, a/c system installs, and suspension and brake work. Just give us a call and let us know how we can help make your classic car drive as good as it looks!
FSR finishes strong at Formula Drift: Point of Impact!
Created on Tuesday, 21 September 2010 23:49- Details
On the weekend of September 10th-12th, FSR Motorsport Creations, Japan Auto and Fredric Aasbo headed to Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, Northern California. In a full on effort for a comeback after the crash in Las vegas last month, they gave it all at Formula Drift Round 6: Point of Impact.
The world class field of Formula Drift drivers was going at it on the beautiful venue for the seventh year in a row, but for Team FSR and Fredric Aasbo this was their debut at Infineon Raceway.
Deemed the Champ Killer this season, the team took out previous D1GP Champion Ryuji Miki and got a strong sixth place finish out of the forty teams entered. Having only participated at four out of six championship rounds in their 2010 Rookie Season, Team Japan Auto FSR is now sitting second in Rookie of The Year standings with the leader only 5 points ahead.
Next up is Formula Drift FINALS: Title Fight at Irwindale Speedway, held on the weekend of October 8th-9th. Home track to FSR Motorsport Creations, the team is looking forward to take on the competition yet again - and put it all at stake for the last time this season.
